Watercolor Painting Arches 140lb Cold Press 22 x 30
This was the last painting before I made my trip to the hospital.
I felt like every positive thing that I had left in me, went into this painting. I think I really enjoyed the paint in this one. With each painting, I learn something new. The water does it’s thing and I study it, then I do mine. We work in unison and at times I feel the paint has a mind of its own and changes the shape of my plans in subtle ways. The Saxophone resounds my blues like no other instrument could. I’m washed in it and yet it propels me, out of myself and away from any sadness I feel, to a warm and welcoming place … and I’m not afraid.
